Play Pens Are Helpful
A playpen is a very helpful tool for when you cannot watch your puppy. It will keep them out of mischeif and safe while you are in the shower, cooking, etc and cannot be watching the puppy.
- A playpen does not have to be expensive.

- It is actually a toddler playpen available at almost any Walmart.
- It ranges in price from $55 to $69.
- It is large enough to use even when your puppy is an adult.
- It folds up or sets up quickly & easily
- It has snap together panels so you can make it larger or smaller
- You can make it a triangle, circle, rectangle or square
- Use it indoors or outdors (always supervise outside use)
- Take it to grandmas for on a camping trip to keep puppy safe and out of mischeif when you can't watch
You can go to www.Walmart.com and search for "Baby Playard" Most all Walmart stores carry these in their infant / baby section. It is made for babies and toddlers, but works great for puppies and small dogs.
NOTE: During potty training time, here is a helpful hint. EVERY TIME you take puppy out of the playpen, BEFORE you play with puppy, take puppy to the 'potty place' and give him / her time to sniff around and go potty. AFTER puppy has had enough time to potty, then you can play with him / her.
NOTE # 2: Don't use the playpen just to 'get the puppy out of your 'hair' so to speak. A Playpen is a great safety tool for when you cannot watch your puppy.
This photos shows it as a circle but it can also be setup as a square, rectangle, or triangle not just a circle, so you can make it fit anywhere and still have room to walk around it.
