Bonnie's Nursey Photos Set 3 Shows Puppies as Infants
There are a lot of photos, give them time to load.
This set of photos shows how Bonnie's family room is set up when the puppies are newborn infants. The stack pen that you see is only used for the first three weeks of the puppies life. It is a protection when the babies are tiny. Buddy and Teaki love the babies but they do not need access to them when the babies are tiny, just in case. Please know the ONLY times the mommas (Rosie and Suzie) are shut in the cages is during the four hours Bonnie is at work, which is only four days per week. The rest of the day and evening the bottom door stays open and top cage the momm is lifted in and out whenever she wants. And believ me, when she wants in or out, she lets you know in no uncertain terms. As, you can see it is right there in the family room, which is connected to the kitchen and dining room. Those are the most used rooms in the house, so they are rarely ever out of Bonnie's sight.
Little Suzie and her babies get the top pen, and Rosie and her babies get the bottom pen. Each pen has a tray that is kept clean. Rosie and Suzie are well potty trained and never really had accidents in the pens anyway. But the trays were there and clean, just in case. again, these nursery stack pens are ONLY for the first three weeks of the puppies life, and are for their safety more than any thing else. See Bonnie's Photo Set 4 to see the setup for after 3 weeks of age.
Clean beds and clean baby blanets are put in as needed, which sometimes of four times a day or more. Bonnie is contantly washing a load of baby beds and blankets.
